Our Martial arts Program includes a Judo Class and a Ne Waza Class addressing the more specialised aspects of ground fighting. 

During the summer months, we also train No Gi Judo (Judo without the traditional Uniform) to give our students an insight into the world of Submission Wrestling and MMA – Mixed Martial Arts.

We also provide Self Defence and Knife Defence sessions throughout the year and visits from guest instructors including World Champion and Paralympic Judoka, Dan Powell and professional MMA fighters such as Dave Faulkner, Jake Mchugh, Jimmy Durkin and Legendary Catch as Catch Can Wrestling And MMA Coach, Paddy Durkin. 

OUR UNIVERSAL, HOLISTIC APPROACH TO JUDO CLASSES ENSURES THAT OUR STUDENTS ARE WELL VERSED IN VARIOUS ASPECTS OF JUDO.  CAPABLE OF HANDLING A NUMBER OF SITUATIONS IF NEED BE. RATHER THAN SIMPLY FOCUSING ON THE OLYMPIC JUDO MODEL, WE HAVE TAKEN A MUCH MORE CONSIDERED AND ROUNDED APPROACH TO JUDO (JUST AS WE WERE TAUGHT) IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE TRADITIONS OF THIS GREAT MARTIAL ART, SELF DEFENCE SYSTEM AND PHILOSOPHY.
